BD Parata’s Global Platform team is seeking a Global Marketing Manager to develop & execute Commercial Excellence initiatives across the Parata Core portfolio. Parata is a market-leading, high-growth, strategic business on the Pharmacy Automation platform. BD Parata offers automation hardware, software and end-to-end central fill solutions that enable clinical, operational and financial improvements in Pharmacies across the world.
This experienced, results-driven individual will work alongside the Associate Director, Commercial Excellence, Global Industry Leader – Adherence Packaging and Global Product Team to drive global commercial execution of the product strategies for the Vial, Blister, Pouch & Inspection portfolios. This person will partner closely with the Regional Marketing teams to execute commercial excellence initiatives to achieve near-term and long-term business objectives and organizational plans, while evaluating opportunities for geographic expansion into new markets.
This global marketer will support several key cross-portfolio initiatives, including the launch of enhanced portfolio segmentation, positioning and messaging across Health Systems, Long-Term Care & Retail customer markets. In addition, this role will lead several product-specific initiatives within the Pouch portfolio to drive growth in US, Canada & Europe. This individual will play a critical role in driving adoption of adherence packaging through strategic market shaping & market development initiatives.
This role provides flexibility to work on site 4 days weekly and remotely Friday on a weekly basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support global commercial strategy to ensure achievement of budgets, ASR plans, and longer-term sustainable growth in all customer segments (Health Systems, LTC, Retail & Strategic Accounts)
Establish in-depth knowledge of Inpatient & Outpatient Pharmacy markets & competitive landscape, including customer needs, market trends, clinical guidelines, reimbursement & competitive activity.
Support portfolio segmentation, positioning & messaging across segments; ensure consistent brand strategy is applied across global markets
Support global pricing strategy refresh, including alternative acquisition models
Develop claims, collateral & toolkits for Rowa Dose; partner with Product Manager to execute upcoming launches of product enhancements & new features
Lead development of global marketing plan for pouch & inspection portfolios
Oversee development of global market model for pouch portfolio to inform future geographic expansion opportunities
Support strategic global pouch project, including portfolio simplification & expansion of consumable revenue
Evaluate market shaping & market development opportunities for adherence packaging, including recommended prioritized markets & tactical plans
Effectively partner and collaborate with Associate Director Commercial Excellence, Global Product Managers, Regional Marketing, Medical Affairs, R&D, ISC, Regulatory Affairs and Quality to ensure appropriate inputs into portfolio and marketing strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required
4+ years experience in medical device marketing, product management, regional marketing or new product development (prior product launch experience highly preferred)
Strong work ethic, self-motivation and resourcefulness
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement commercial strategies and drive successful execution to meet business objectives
Demonstrated track record of achieving results working across dynamic teams, complex business environments and matrix organizations
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distill data into a succinct, simple story to influence the organization
Exceptional communication skills (written & presentation)
Ability to travel regularly to Durham, NC, Kelberg Germany and Global Customers (up to 20% of the time)
