Job Summary
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing our key accounts in Shanghai and Zhejiang area by building up strong relationships with customers and developing strategies to promote BDB products and services to meet customer needs and expectations. He/She should have extensive knowledge of medical devices market as well as sales experience in medical device industry. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal Chinese Mandarin and English.
Responsibility:
1. Develop and execute business plan based on product portfolio and resources;
2. Identify new opportunities and develop appropriate strategies to maximize business potentials;
3. Establish and maintain good relationship with customers;
4. Plan and conduct regular field visits to assigned accounts;
5. Make presentations to customers regarding BD’s products and services;
6. Negotiate prices and contracts with customers;
7. Provide feedback on market trends and competitor activities;
8. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary;
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Operations, Regulatory Affairs etc.;
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor degree or above majoring in Medicine or Life Science;
2. At least 5 years working experience in medical device industry with proven track record of success;
3. Strong knowledge of medical devices market and competition landscape;
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal Chinese Mandarin and English;
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
6. Demonstrated ability to build long term relationships with customers;
7. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite;
8. Valid driving license required;
9. Willingness to travel frequently within region.
