Job Description Summary

The Intelligence and Data Lead is responsible for driving the market and customer centric data collection and analytics within the MDS EMEA marketing team, working closely with the regional and local marketing teams, to support a data driven omnichannel marketing approach. Demonstrating internal and external insights and data to handle, update, and refine customer, driven and market intelligence profiles. Facilitating that intelligence and insights are translated into recommendations that can be confirmed in the decision-making process.

Strong focus on maintaining and refining the health and accuracy of data on our key tools, CRM being the primary platform. Build visualisation of data into dashboards and modelling for multi-year strategic planning. Own the organisation into a more data-driven approach, including training of collaborators across the organisation

Our vision for Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) at BD!

As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • To support the EMEA marketing organisation in planning and decision making for implementation of EMEA wide marketing activities.
  • Analysis and provision of data to detect market changes, efficiency of product launches and marketing campaigns and to identify and interpret driven activities.
  • Support effective customer targeting and engagement strategies by segment based on customer and product data sales and activities tracking, including training and monitoring of regional and country teams.
  • Work with collaborators from Global, regional, and country teams to build and maintain driven profiles and market trends.
  • Drive CRM adoption and transformation in the marketing community, by implementing the best practise across the region.
  • Lead the marketing data analysis to drive transparency into the success of omnichannel engagements. Transform data into dashboards, modulate the data demonstrating CRM system and PowerBI.
  • Working closely with the EMEA Marketing Teams to analyse product performance and trends including.

Operationalization of Market Intelligence and Data:

  • Centralise insights for the organisation through effective dissemination.
  • Implement data strategy for MDS EMEA marketing, aligning with global and regional goals.
  • Analyse data from diverse sources, offering insights to bolster marketing strategy.
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports using data visualization.
  • Establish an intelligence database on market trends, competitors, opportunities, challenges.
  • Provide analysis insights crucial for key marketing decisions.
  • Support segmentation, targeting, and customer analytics training

CRM optimisation:

  • Enhance CRM system for data quality and completeness.

  • Promote adoption of marketing attributes.
  • Create customer insights dashboards and report on opportunity pipeline.
  • Map customer journey across marketing channels and touchpoints.
  • Train teams on Salesforce and omnichannel platform compliance and methodologies.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing intelligence, data analysis, or CRM management, preferably in the MedTech or healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel or Power BI.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate sophisticated data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade collaborators.
  • Highly organised and diligent, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent teammate and self-starter, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
