The Director of Commercial Integration is responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness and excellence in support of the US IDS Selling organization. She/he will work across the US IDS organization to ensure prioritization and alignment of critical business initiatives, especially those requiring integration between the IDS Commercial team and the resources within the BDX US Region Commercial Operations Team.  This role reports directly to the US VP/GM IDS Sales and will be a member of the IDS US Region Leadership Team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maximize collaboration and alignment with US Region centralized resources, enabling efficiencies, and ensuring consistency with business practices across the organization.

  • Build a cross-platform pricing approval and compliance process to maximize discipline and GP consistent with BDX inflationary pricing strategy.

  • Create a clear and single source of analytics tools/reports to inform decision-making and strategy across the business, driving the reduction of the number of data platforms (and conversion to SFDC) over time.

  • Lead the development and on-going inspection of funnel execution (Win Room) 

  • Generate and maintain GPO Performance Report to include incremental growth/loss, GP by GPO and price gain/loss metrics.

  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Business Solutions, Clinical Solutions, Service, BDX US Region, WW IDS BU) that lead to the highest levels of collaboration, effectiveness, and insight.

  • Act as an integrator and create and maintain linkage across BDX business units and identify new opportunities and synergies to maximize the overall IDS portfolio.

  • Understand emerging healthcare industry trends and assess their potential impact on commercial operations strategies.

  • Assess the current processes between marketing operations and finance analytics to make a recommendation on roles and responsibilities across functions in alignment with the commercial integration strategy.

  • Build a team of commercial integration managers supporting the needs of both SM and DS.

  • Lead/support other critical initiatives as defined by the US VP/GM of Sales

REQUIRED KNOLWEDGE/SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience working in the medical technology industry.

  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple deliverables and shifting priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with leaders and key influencers, build credibility and challenge stakeholders to drive initiatives and deliver high-impact solutions to meet business needs.

  • Previous working experience with general management and P&L responsibility in a domestic or regional business leadership role

  • Proven ability to establish goals, set clear expectations, prioritize activities and follow-through with timely execution of objectives with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication/presentation, listening/assessment, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; project management skills preferred.

  • Proficient in the use of technology including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Workday, Saleforce.com

  • Prior Sales, Marketing, or other commercial leadership experience

  • Strong working knowledge of BD businesses and processes preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills combined with ability to synthesize information to inform fast decision-making opportunities.

  • Work in an ambiguous environment and ability to manage and execute multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while operating independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to generate and suggest ideas to improve processes.

  • Ability to “see” patterns and trends in data and financial information.

  • Motivate, support, and inspire a team to get things done, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and do what’s necessary to achieve our goals.

  • Minimum BS/BA degree

  • Travel up to 25%
