Job Description

Support strategy implementation for BD’s Public Affairs team in Greater Asia:

• Work with BD’s regional and country Public Affairs teams to gather intelligence on policy issues and analyze their relevance to BD and the medical technology sector.

• Support the development of an information management system to effectively document policy issues relevant to BD and update the information therein.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration with external partners to advance priorities
• Support execution of strategic initiatives related to BD’s policy and public affairs objectives

Support BD’s thought leadership efforts:

• Support research on policy issues relevant to BD and develop appropriate policy responses (examples include healthcare financing and payment reforms, shifts in healthcare delivery systems, procurement changes, manufacturing localization, cybersecurity).
• Support engagement with external stakeholders to build BD brand awareness and thought leadership
• Coordinate policy submissions, support BD participation in external events, and other stakeholder management tasks.

Support communication efforts related to policy and government affairs:

• Draft communication pieces for either internal or external purposes, in support of BD’s policy positions, external engagement activities, etc.
