Marketing Associate Manager
Job Description Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for providing core marketing support to UCC (Urology & Critical Care) business with specific focus on Segment Marketing, communications, content development, planning and executing promotional events, Market Intelligence, and developing and managing key customer relationships with the objective of Demand generation and increasing the market share/penetration of UCC portfolio. Above should be sustainable, process driven and is aligned to the regional/global business strategies. Alongside creating segment centric solutions to fulfill unmet needs of customers hence creating highly differentiated brand awareness for BD UCC products.This incumbent is also responsible for managing a MKT specialist who is in charge of the UCC portfolio together.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities
MARKETING KNOWLEDGE (Urology & Critical Care)
Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of those sectors of the market relative to the business to ensure the company’s products achieve their maximum potential. Work with UCC sales team & UCC MKT Specialist to develop marketing Strategy and ensuring implementation of key strategic drivers as under;
Responsible for analyzing Periodic Margin - Pricing /discounting decision
Responsible for New/Market appropriate product launches
Utilize various data points such as sales/ product/ market trends etc to develop effective sales promotional tools by understanding market/sales organization’s needs
Drive Market Intelligence in alignment with respective businesses, Gather VoC, Analyze purchase criteria of customers, Survey Customer perceptions, Understand purchase processes and cycles. Collate market intelligence to outperform competition
Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics
MARKETING PLANS/ACTIVITIES
Develop and recommend for marketing plans to achieve optimum sales and profitability within company guidelines.
Play an instrumental role in making the Annual Strategic Review(ASR, longer-term MKT plan) and execution of ASR actions/milestones
Develop and implement annual marketing plans which include sales/profit objectives, strategies, tactics, sales and promotional budgets
Organize promotional campaigns and coordinate all aspects of product advertising including new product launch
Ensure attendance at conferences for achieving maximum market exposure within the constraints of the promotional budget
Participate in the process of determining price and volume discount policies
Collaborate to generate digital and print advertising material
Job Requirements
Marketing or Sales experiences in Medical Device field over 8 years.
Good understanding of medical business practice
Experience of utilizing SFDC, MARKETO is preferred
Willing to do people managing job
