Sr. Project Manager, Field Action Remediation (remote)
Job Description Summary
The Field Action Remediation Senior Project Manager will support the Solution Deployment Services (SDS) organization within the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) Business Unit by leading field action remediation projects. The project manager will partner with other members of the remediation team to complete remediation projects on schedule and on budget, while ensuring all activities are compliant with applicable industry regulations. In addition, the project manager will identify and drive field action process improvement opportunities.The Senior Project Manager will lead a remediation team comprised of resources across SDS and be responsible for developing the project plan for each remediation project. These project plans will include preparing the team to execute a new field action, anticipating the risks associated with the plan, and tracking progress against the plan. The Senior Project Manager will also be expected to monitor progress and adjust the plan as necessary to meet remediation objectives.
The Senior Project Manager will have solid project management skills, attention to detail as well as strong process execution and analytical skills. Knowledge of Pyxis products, Dispensing Professional Services implementation processes and/or Dispensing Service/Support processes, is preferred.

Key responsibilities:
Leads multiple concurrent remediation efforts for all assigned field actions
Leads internal and customer program leadership meetings to support the development of program level plans, and customer specific project plans
Facilitate internal communication, development, and execution of mitigation plans to address program/project risks and issues
Ensure all project records are accurate and up to date
Ensuring compliance with all relevant BD policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
Provide training and support to project team members to ensure documented procedures are being followed, and all records are accurate and up to date
Identifies opportunities to streamline or improve processes
Establishes strong relationships at all levels within BD

Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate correctly and concisely in English
Strong customer service skills and positive attitude
Comfortable working with ambiguity
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products

Desired/Additional Skills & Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Life Sciences preferred.
Seven or more years of experience in project management; PMP preferred
Prior experience within a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, pharma, automotive, aerospace) is preferred
Managed/supported projects cross-functionally in an iterative, fast paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and group facilitation skills; experience leading and influencing in a matrix managed environment
High attention to detail while managing multiple complex deliverables and stakeholder groups
Ability to learn quickly, deal with ambiguity, take initiative and achieve results
Self-starter; able to work alone and as part of a team
Demonstrated proficiency with SharePoint and MS Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Proven organization and time management skills
Travel: up to 15%
