Global Product Manager, Pyxis Med

Job Description Summary

This position will be responsible for leading the global marketing strategy and planning for Pyxis Med solutions. You will partner closely with commercial/region marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure strong execution of customer needs, value creation, product development, commercial and strategic product placement and promotion, to achieve planned growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the value offer/value prop to drive strategic roadmap, prioritization of global platform deliverables

  • Taking charge of the voice of customer and collaborator process, considering feedback and input for prioritization.

  • Supporting the Commercial and cross-functional Marketing partners, research initiatives to drive strategic insights, mentorship on product development, commercial priorities.

  • Partnering with Medical Affairs to evolve, develop evidence generation and product claims

  • Supporting the development and evaluation of arguments with the Platform team to drive innovation and create new solutions.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional associates to complete the strategic roadmap for project Core Teams, and provide updates to the Global Marketing Platform.

  • Leading key stage-gate (GPDS) governance activities, with adherence to BD Way of Marketing best practices

  • Developing a keen understanding of customer experience journey from order to support – driving improvements through the platform in alignment with cross-functional partners

  • Able to understand and communicate complex workflows, developing and demonstrating strong product and market knowledge, specifically related to medication management in hospitals

  • Show excellent interpersonal skills in building and maintaining relationships with customers and key influencers to ensure marketing decisions are customer focused.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing/Business or Technical Field; MBA experience preferred.

  • 3-5 years in marketing and/or product/solution management with demonstrated excellence in commercial strategy and launch planning required

  • Healthcare automation experience and hospital pharmacy experience desired. Experience marketing software applications and coordinated workflow experience desired.

  • Experience getting things done in highly matrixed environments, able to work with cross-functional teams and to lead teams beyond your direct span of control

  • Strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Experience across international geographies with success in incorporating feedback from diverse collaborators

  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills.

  • Personal characteristics: data-driven, collaborative, curious, diligent, critical thinker, enthusiastic, customer-focused

Location: Hybrid role at BD office in San Diego, CA preferred

Travel: Up to 15% travel required.

We use salary ranges to ensure fair compensation for all associates, from entry level to experts. Factors like location and experience determine the specific range. The salary offered depends on experience, education, skills, and work location. Field-based and Remote roles may have different salary ranges. $135,000.00 - $152,000.00 USD Annual
