Director of Launch Excellence, US Region Medication Management Solutions
Primary Functions:
This newly formed role will lead the vision and execution of US Region launch excellence and readiness for multi-year product launches within the MMS product portfolio. The position will effectively develop, organize, and drive highly skilled cross-functional team to address market needs and activation of the commercial organization. In addition, the role will create and drive go-to-market strategy and ensure successful commercial readiness . This high visibility leadership role will present frequently across various levels up to and including the MMS LT.
Executes a project or multiple projects of medium scale and moderate complexity by leading cross functional teams individually or with an additional project leader. Examples would include collaborating with Marketing and Sales to identify various product demand scenarios and identifying how Service and Operations would support those and associated strategic decision triggers.
Influences solutions to business problems. Communicates and implements the strategic direction for the project/program team. Demonstrates a working knowledge of business & market growth drivers & trends, influences business case development.

Represents the organization as the prime contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior personnel on significant cross-Functional and cross-business matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Scope of Responsibility Focused on Product Commercialization
Executes a project or multiple projects of moderate to high complexity by leading cross functional teams individually or with an additional project leader
Provides project status to the MMS Platform and Region Leadership Team for each phase of the project
Execute to the business interests set by Program Champion
Reinforces business perceptive and urgency throughout the program
Responsible for the execution, quality, and results of his or her project and the success of the resulting product for the business or in the market.
Demonstrate leadership, learning agility and action orientation when facing uncertainty. Instill confidence through leadership and actions.
Interacts with functional managers and business leaders to communicate regarding critical project risks, questions or challenges.
Challenges core team members, functional leaders and business leaders regarding functional and cross functional strategies and approaches to improve launch outcomes. Resolves team and cross-functional conflicts if they arise.
Analyzes development situations and data with in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Influences solutions to business problems.

Demonstrates a working knowledge of business & market growth drivers & trends, influences business case development.
Ensures framework in place to monitor success metrics of post launch 6-12 months
Advanced knowledge of Program Management and associated disciplines. MBA is highly preferred.
The following skills and abilities are requirements for the role:
Requirements:
At least 10 years relevant experience in project management with at least 5 years in medical devices/products.
Deep experience in leading complex, technology-driven product launches including software applications, digital solutions, and AI enabled applications/analytics within a shared service architecture.
Minimum of 5-8 years project management experience.
Strong knowledge of Marketing discipline is preferred.

Successful track record of commercializing new products
Experience in new GPDS model of planning multiple work-streams, identifying risk and implementing action plans to optimize timelines and reduce execution risk
