Iberia Product Manager

The purpose of this role is to promote growth of BD products through specialized marketing materials, clinical sessions, training programs and evidence generation projects. Also promoting KOL engagement to enable the BD solutions through the clinical practice.

About the role

This position is responsible for providing a highly professional level of Product, Clinical, Marketing and Customer-Patient management with focus on our Commercial Organization. The purpose of this role is to promote growth of BD products through specialized marketing materials, clinical sessions, training programs and evidence generation projects. Also promoting KOL engagement to enable the BD solutions through the clinical practice.

As a member of the Hernia team the role also contributes to the local targets and drives regional initiatives; collaborates on key clinical, product and marketing projects by preparing, presenting, and demonstrating technical aspects and marketing tools through clinical sessions, professional education, workshops, congresses or any other event as they relate directly to customer needs that contribute to individual and company success.

The Product Manager will report to the Sales Manager and will work closely with the Sales Team, European Marketing team and BDX to ensure the execution of the strategy, to performance innovative projects and to identify key accounts and customers in Iberia.

Hybrid role, 60% of travel work time, mainly in Iberia, and exceptionally in other locations in EMEA or the US.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Drives and implements portfolio/platform strategies, tactics development, and execution in line with regional guidance.
  • PLCM – from commercialization to discontinuation ownership, incl. registration requests, supported by PLC operations.
  • Develop and apply deep market and customer insights and consolidate insights on overall portfolio and competitors.
  • Translates and develops relevant value proposition and overall portfolio strategy by segment / channel.
  • Localizes and develops portfolio relevant content and materials / optimizes sales support, including tender criteria value drivers, positioning to win.
  • Provides training on product and applications, key supporting evidence, and general product expertise.
  • Provides pricing guidance to customer facing teams in line with global and regional guidance.
  • In collaboration with the Omnichannel SURGERY team, participate and support the execution and deployment of omnichannel campaign in the Hub.
  • Provide tender support to customer service team and Account Managers.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or Marketing
  • Minimum of 3 years in product and/or marketing management, in MedTech industry. Strong technical Marketing competence
  • Confirmed track to work in hospitals andORs.
  • Experience of working in a large matrix organization. Able to demonstrate effective territory and time management skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Spanish and English.
