Our vision for “function or BU” at BD

With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to lead multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

About the role

As Clinical Resource Consultant, you would be leading end to end Connected Medication Management (CMM) vision for infusion Alaris MMS in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, all while adhering to quality and service standards to support operational goals.

The role will be based in Jeddah.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of relevant clinical operations, products, and services.
  • Provides clinical leadership to BD customers in the training, and implementation of infusion products.
  • Interacts and supports Project Manager to ensure timely and productive implementations.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to establish organizational goals, strategic plans, and objectives.
  • Collaborates with hospital clinicians to facilitate and participate in the development of policies and procedures; defining workflows, protocol developments and updates; resource group development; device education; go-live and post-implementation clinical rounds and consulting.
  • Provides follow-up to customers, according to department guidelines/criteria, for the purpose of system assessment, customer satisfaction, problem-solving, and evaluation of the BD product/solutions.
  • Develops recommendations to assure that customers experience the full benefit and capabilities of solutions implemented.
  • Expertise in IV therapy, including knowledge of best practices and protocols.
  • Handle clinical training and all related processes to ensure effective use of Alaris products and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Provide sales consultation and workflow analysis of existing processes within the medication management and supply chain systems.
  • Perform workflow redesign with practice change recommendations and accompanying BD infusion solutions to facilitate the achievement and customer strategic goals.
  • Apply up-to-date healthcare knowledge to provide clinical input for new product development and software enhancements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure BD remains competitive and relevant.
  • Support the sales team, answering customer inquiries with superior infusion product knowledge. Utilize reports to analyze and impact business trends for establishment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to increase sales and loyalty.
  • Generate leads and locate opportunities for market expansion and business growth. Forecast sales numbers to gauge product and campaign success.

About you

  • Proven experience in a clinical or commercial role, multinational background a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Great communication and presentation skills, ability to educate and support customers on the product and address their needs and concerns.
  • Excellent team player, being able to work in a cross-functional setting.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
