Operational Technology support role:

• Provide first class technical support to the manufacturing enterprise, supporting plant operations and personnel to ensure a safety-first environment that delivers value to our enterprise and the highest quality products to our customers
• Provide production support and maintenance for enterprise and local systems including, OEE and Plant Key Performance Metrics, Process Controls and Automation, reporting and analytics systems for Operations, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and others as directed
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for OT systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Plant departments, Information Security, TGS, MFG-IT, Service Providers, etc.) to define requirements and ensure seamless integration of OT solutions and keep the necessary Cybersecurity controls
• Engage with external vendors and partners to evaluate and select appropriate OT technologies and solutions
• Encourage active participation and ownership of the local OT related operations in the project and ensure a smooth transition to the new OT systems and technologies
• Understands Data Highway communications and protocols: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), SCADA systems, Human Machine Interface (HMI), OPC-UA standards, Firewall rule development & troubleshooting, Windows based and None-Windows based PC applications, industrial networks, TCP/IP/IoT connectivity, Edge Devices, Cloud Connectivity, Data Analytics, and how to effectively apply these technologies to complex manufacturing environment
• Support new technology assessment, Proof of Concepts, Pilots, and Expansion Plans collaborating with Engineering, IT, Information Security, Operations, R&D and Vendors 
• Keep the relevant OT operation and inventory documentations up to date 
• Contact person in the event of technical issues
• Importance of collaboration with cross-functional teams, both globally and locally

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): 

• University degree in informatics, computer science or a comparable education with more than 1+ years relevant experience in informatics environments 
• Advanced English knowledge written and verbal
• High technical understanding and experience of the Microsoft operating system and product 
• Experience in creation and installation of software packages 
• Can work in a multi culture and matrix environment 
• Effective work both in a team and independently

• Basic level scripting knowledge
