About The Role
As a Product Specialist you will be responsible for assisting in promoting our products to customers by providing product information and demonstrations of our products. You will work closely with surgeons/urologists & clinicians across hospitals & private practices to educate them on benefits of our products.
Responsibilities
• Identifying opportunities and developing relationships within targeted accounts.
• Assisting sales team in identifying and meeting customer needs.
• Working with Sales team to develop strategies for achieving business objectives.
• Achieve annual targets set for territory.
• Understand competitive landscape and position products accordingly.
• Supporting and managing all aspects of the product lifecycle including new product launches and product retirement.
• Preparing presentations, training materials, case studies etc.
• Increasing awareness of product offerings through seminars, product training programs etc.
• Coordinating & organizing conferences / CME programmes
• Supporting marketing activities such as trade shows, exhibitions, events, roadshows, etc.
Qualification & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of medical devices industry preferred
• Strong understanding of medical terminology
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Ability to understand complex concepts and communicate effectively at multiple levels
• Good analytical skills
• Self-starter with ability to thrive in high energy environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented
