Our vision for “function or BU” at BD

As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anesthesia and closed medication management.

About the role

The Business Enablement Manager is a key enabler for the success of the MDS MENAT business with focusing on commercial, operational & execution excellence by creating analytical solutions and initiatives that enhance commercial and sales performance by driving four main verticals: Commercial Excellence, Distributor Excellence, Orders Enablement and Business Analytics.

Main responsibilities will include:

Commercial Excellence (ComEX)

  • Work with the business analysts to lead ComEX initiatives related to SFDC usage, adoption and account segmentation
  • Develop pricing & GP optimization and monitoring tools to provide guidance by the data points
  • Create E2E dashboard to highlight challenges & various steps with clear execution plan to drive financial achievement.
  • Point of contact for the ComEX EMEA & MENAT teams to drive and ensure execution of initiatives by MDS MENAT

Distributor Excellence

  • Work with the business analysts to lead Distributor Excellence (DE) initiatives in DPMP usage and required data (Secondary Sales/Inventory) collection.
  • Provide required analysis for the secondary sales to drive discussion on account level performance
  • Provide required analysis for inventory levels to drive discussions around potential inventory risk management.
  • Point of contact for the DE MENAT team to drive and ensure execution of initiatives by MDS MENAT

Orders Enablement

  • Partner with supply chain and commercial teams to develop predictable operational forecast based on Country demand and supply to improve forecast accuracy and ensure supply allocations
  • Partner with the relevant stakeholders to optimizing the E2E order management process in MENAT

Business Analytics

  • Support the annual budget, quarterly projections and ASR financial cycles and support markets with BPC data entries, business review calls preparations, financial analysis and presentations.
  • Business Analytics – Lead the business analysts in preparing dashboards on current achievements in MENAT markets; preparing, analyzing, and circulating monthly sales reports; continuous financial forecasting support into corporate financial planning systems, providing monthly analytical dashboards for commercial review. Liaison with local and regional finance team during Budget/Forecast/ASR to update Hub performance.
  • Marketing Analysis & Support – Providing analytics support for newly launched products, updating monthly dashboards for tracking sales and activities in the MENAT region and providing reports and presentations for monthly calls.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (IT, business administration or others)
  • Skills in order fulfilment and management, demand and supply forecasting and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills for performance analysis and proficient in SAP, Power BI, MS-Office and SFDC for day-to-day functioning
  • Project management and cross functional collaboration experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (Arabic is a plus)
  • Strong negotiation skills with an ability to lead without authority.
