The Global Integrated Engineering (GIE) project manager
Responsible to manage projects by providing leadership and guidance to one or multiple projects teams and has overall responsibility for the end-to-end simultaneous management of GIE projects for the business.
In this role you will also hold accountability to meet financial targets, manage cross-functional teams, and handle multiple complex projects with effective time management.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop comprehensive end to end project plans in accordance with the BU QMS and project management guidance and objectives. This includes scope, objectives, timelines, CAPEX and OPEX budgets, prioritisation, to ensure successful project completion.
Project types: Capacity, compliance, safety, digitalization, architecture, NPD, CTW (Change to Win), crisis, retrofit, and facilities.
Lead, coordinate collaboration and communication among project stakeholders and supportive function leaders as well as all cross-functional teams
Responsible for identifying and mitigating potential project risks
Accountable for the control and monitoring of project budgets as well as for tracking and evaluating project performance using important metrics
Communicate program updates to functional management and executive leadership
Conduct postmortem project reviews to identify best practices and areas to improve
Coordinate activities in case of changes in project scope, schedule, costs, ensuring that partners are informed/aligned with changes
Lead sharing of best practices and lessons learned among team members across organization to drive continuous improvement in DFMA/CAPEX integration projects.
Research and evaluate new project management technologies/solutions that can enhance industrialization initiatives/optimize CAPEX investments.
May participate in R&D or large capacity Projects Core-teams as a Team member.
The role requires domestic and international travel up to 30%.
PROFILE:
B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, industrial, material or equivalent Engineering preferred), business or life sciences.
Successful record of accomplishment in Lean manufacturing. PMP certification a plus.
Three (3) years of progressively responsible engineering and project management experience. Proven leadership in project and capital management. Experience preferred in operations and/or in advanced manufacturing engineering.
Fluent English
