Senior Marketing Manager, UI - Hybrid

Job Description Summary

As Senior Marketing Manager, UI, you will be a key member of the Home Care marketing team and will have responsibilities across the marketing spectrum, including upstream marketing where you will support the Marketing Director in crafting the Home Care platform strategy, explore new markets, develop recommendations based on competitive analysis, drive strategic initiatives such as new go-to-market call points , and support the innovation and business development teams; New Product Development where you own the marketing workstream of this innovative product; and US International Responsibilities, where you will lead and coordinate with the regional and country commercial teams on different projects and initiatives to drive success.

UCC’s Home Care business is uniquely positioned to innovate in alignment with all three of the irreversible forces that BD sees driving the future of healthcare: advancing smart-connected care, transitioning to new care settings, and improving chronic disease outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze sales results, study environment, and perform appropriate research to understand product segment potential and profitability.

  • Propose and execute online extensions and new products to better serve segment needs and optimize sales potential.

  • Develop and drive the execution of the marketing plan for the products of responsibility or business segment.

  • Develop and execute Market Research plan for NPD and line extensions; monitor competitive activity and develop rebuttals.

  • Represent Home Care Marketing in the development of new product development plans and project execution.

  • Propose and perform appropriate market research to understand customer needs and trends in the market.

  • Cross-collaborate with multi-disciplines, such as R&D, Customer Service, Customer Care, Sales, Medical Services & Support, Quality, Operations and Regulatory.

  • Direct interaction with customer base, including internal Sales team, Health care professionals, DME’s and end users/consumers.

  • College degree (BA minimum) required, preferably in business management or marketing.

  • Experience with product management and developing marketing plans.

  • Proven successful product launches.

  • Experience analyzing business opportunities.

  • Experience leading project teams.

  • Define, develop, and execute pricing proposals/strategies to optimize sales results and profitability.

  • Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, sales representatives, clients, customers, and the Sr. Management team.

  • Analytical and strategic thinking ability as well as mental agility.

  • Decisive, flexible, quick-thinking.

  • High level of curiosity and desire to learn.

  • Ability to write and execute a marketing plan.

  • Travel: 25%

  • Strong presentation and communication skills as well as the ability to influence others.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or marketing.

  • Minimum of 5 years business experience in marketing management, preferably in the field of medical devices also combined with sales experience is preferred.

  • Experience with product management and developing marketing plans.

  • Proven successful product launches.

  • Experience analyzing business opportunities.

  • Experience leading project teams.

  • Define, develop, and execute pricing proposals/strategies to optimize sales results and profitability.
