Summary of Position

Responsible for meeting/exceeding production standards, maintaining product quality, and minimizing/preventing equipment downtime. Must be able to work both independently and as a team member and actively communicate with others to include workplace teams.  Will perform continuous inspection to identify and remove critical, major, and minor defects according to standard procedures.  Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.  Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.  Willing and able to uphold BD Values.  Ability to read, write and converse in English or Spanish.

Debe ser capaz de trabajar tanto de forma independiente como miembro del equipo y comunicarse activamente con otros para incluir a los equipos del lugar de trabajo.  Realizará una inspección continua para identificar y eliminar defectos críticos, mayores y menores de acuerdo con los procedimientos estándar.   Garantiza el cumplimiento de los sistemas, políticas, procedimientos y mejores prácticas de calidad de BD, y todas las regulaciones, políticas y procedimientos de seguridad locales, estatales, federales y de BD.  La asistencia regular y puntual es una función laboral esencial.  Dispuesto y capaz de defender los valores de BD.  Capacidad para leer, escribir y conversar en inglés o espanol. 

Responsibilities

• Manually/visually and under magnification inspect product and be able to identify and remove defects.

• Perform quality inspections and record accurate inspection data as required.

• Tend equipment and clear jams, load commodities, move materials, and remove trash.

• Verify process steps are completed correctly in appropriate batch records.

• Clean equipment, floors, and workstations.

• Sustain a productive work environment through effective communication with team members.

• Responsible to contribute to the continuous improvement of the process.

• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

Las responsabilidades incluyen, entre otras:

• Manualmente/visualmente y bajo aumento inspeccionar el producto y ser capaz de identificar y eliminar defectos.

• Realice inspecciones de calidad y registrar datos de inspección precisos según sea necesario.

• Atienda el equipo y limpie los atascos, mover y cargar producto necesario a la maquina y retirar la basura.

• Verifique que los pasos del proceso se completen correctamente en los registros de lote apropiados.

• Limpie equipos, pisos y estaciones de trabajo.

• Mantener un ambiente de trabajo productivo a través de una comunicación efectiva con los miembros del equipo.

• Responsable de contribuir a la continuación de mejorar el proceso.

• Otras tareas que sean necesarias para apoyar las necesidades del negocio.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• H.S, Diploma/GED - Preferred

Minimum Experience:

• 2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities (KSA’s):
