About the role
In the role of BDB EMEA Marketing and Business Assistant, the successful incumbent will support the Marketing Director and the BDB EMEA Marketing Leadership Team with the development of market and customer segment analysis, the coordination of several key initiatives and the preparation of reports relating to projects and other key strategic activities. It may include leading specific initiatives as well as contribution to some product management duties. This high visibility position will offer the incumbent an excellent opportunity to develop their knowledge of BDB EMEA organization.
Main responsibilities will include:
Execution and/or coordination of business cases (to inform requests from headquarters as well as regional decisions) and opportunity assessments (e.g. potential new market segments.)
Coordinate the execution of key regional initiatives (e.g. installation and running of the Expert Communities) in close collaboration with the BDB EMEA Marketing Director.
Collate competitor and marketing intelligence insights to inform the development of commercial tools and their swift release to the commercial teams.
Coordinate the deployment & promotion of the usage of processes and tools (e.g. commercial tools, usage of FACS University platform by customers).
Work with the BDB EMEA Marketing Director to coordinate the response to information and market analysis requests (either from Global, BDx or BDB EMEA management).
Project management support and coordination of specific marketing team activities (e.g. marketing plan, Market Access initiatives).
Lead the execution of specific product management support tasks, e.g. demand planning, product registration, active management of marketing assets.
About you
Business graduate preferably with a scientific background and 2-3 years of experience in consulting or healthcare.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence at above peer level.
Digitally savvy and able to operate in a virtual team environment
Strong project management skills and ability to manage and complete projects on time and budget.
Ability to collaborate and network in a complex matrix organization.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong presentation skills.
IT proficient, including CRM systems.
Proficient in English. A further major European language would be an advantage.
Willingness to travel, anticipated to be up to 30% of time.
